Title from publisher's web site.
White rimmed plate with circular extension on right hand side to represent a beverage. The plate has colored sections showing the recommended amount of each major food group in a meal: green for vegetables, red for fruits, brown for grains, purple for protein, and, in the circular extension, blue for dairy. Entire plate has a diam. of ca. 10 3/4 in., but the eating surface is only 8 1/2 in.
Features the newest (2011) USDA graphic to help consumers choose all five food groups, emphasize vegetables and fruits, and control portion sizes in their meals. Safe for actual food use.
