Library WorkshopsSome Bellack Library Workshops are now available as self-paced D2L courses! Self-enroll to take a workshop with asynchronous librarian guidance. Eventually all of our workshops will be available in this format. Currently you can enroll in the following workshops:
APA 7 Workshop -- Click here to enroll. This workshop will help learn the basics of 7th edition APA format and style, and will prepare you to create parenthetical (in-text) citations and reference lists.
Zotero Workshop -- Click here to enroll. In this workshop, you will learn how to use Zotero, an application that helps you organize and keep track of your references for papers and projects. It creates citations and reference lists for you. It's a huge time saver for anyone who will be working on a research paper or project.
Mastering Keyword Searching Workshop -- Click here to enroll. Level up your database searching skills with this workshop, which will teach you how to methodically search for evidence to help you make a clinical decision or write your research paper.
Covidence Workshop -- Click here to enroll. Take this workshop if you will be working on a systematic or scoping review to learn how to use Covidence, the application that makes it easy to perform your review from screening through data extraction.
Synchronous workshops may resume when we are fully back on campus. If so, they will be listed on the events calendar below.
The Bellack Library also hosts a variety of events every year like journal clubs and themed activites. Currently, we are hosting them on Zoom but in-person events will return when public health guidelines and IHP policies allow for them!
Some workshops and events may require advance registration.
